Meskipun saat ini sedang berjuang di cabang sepak bola Asian Games 2018, Timnas U-23 Indonesia akan tetap melalukan sesi upacara.
Asisten pelatih Timnas U-23 Indonesia, Bima Sakti, mengatakan kemungkinan besar tim dan pemainnya akan menggelar sesi upacara di hotel tempat menginap.
Hansamu Yama dkk saat ini menginap di Hotel Aston, Bekasi, Jawa Barat, selama babak penyisihan Grup A.
Menggelar upacara di hotel bukan hal yang baru bagi tim asuhan Luis Milla itu.
Pasalnya pada saat SEA Games 2017 yang berlangsung di Malaysia, skuat Garuda Muda menggelar upacara bendera Merah Putih di hotel tempat menginap.
“Kalau di hotel mengadakan, kami akan upacara di hotel seperti tahun lalu di Malaysia upacara ya di lapangan hotel,” kata Bima Sakti di Lapangan ABC, Senayan, Jakarta Pusat, Kamis (16/8/2018).
“Ya berarti mungkin saja besok kami upacara di hotel,” ucap Bima Sakti menambahkan.
Setelah upacara di pagi hari, Timnas U-23 Indonesia kembali bersiap untuk melakoni laga berikutnya.
Pasalnya pada malam harinya, Timnas U-23 Indonesia akan bertemu dengan Timnas U-23 Laos pada laga lanjutan Grup A cabang sepak bola Asian Games 2018 di Stadion Patriot Chandrabhaga, Bekasi, Jawa Barat, Jumat (17/8/2018).
Kemenangan menjadi harga mati bagi Timnas U-23 Indonesia lantaran untuk menjaga peluang lolos ke babak 16 besar.
Sebab, sampai saat ini Timnas U-23 Indonesia baru memiliki tiga poin setelah melakoni dua pertandingan melawan Timnas U-23 Taiwan dan Timnas U-23 Palestina.
“Besok pertandingan yang sangat kita tunggu karena kami ingin memberikan kado kemenangan untuk masyarakat Indonesia,” kata Bima Sakti.
